WMI Vision Statement

WMI’s vision is that no person should perish for want of safe drinking water, adequate sanitation facilities, or an opportunity to hear the “Living Water” message

WMI Mission Statement

WMI’s mission is to provide sustainable access to safe water and an opportunity to hear the "Living Water" message in developing countries and disaster areas.

WMI Statement of Faith

What a person believes is the foundation for both life and ministry. In order to be a Representative of WMI, we require that you be in agreement with our Statement of Faith.
  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (II Timothy 3:15-17)
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19)
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1-4; Philippians 2:5-11; Acts 1:11 & 2:22-24)
  • We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ result in regeneration by the Holy Spirit and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. (Titus 3:4-7, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6, Acts 4:12; Luke 24:46-47)
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life. (Galatians 5:16-18; Romans 8:9)
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal punishment. (Revelations 20:11-15; I Corinthians 15:51-57)
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church. (Ephesians 1:22-23; I Corinthians 12:12 & 27)
  • We believe that the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of both the Church and each Christian. (Romans 10:9-15; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:17-20; I Peter 3:15

WMI Personal Conduct Policy

This policy is intended to serve as a guideline on behavior that is consistent with WMI’s Christian beliefs and organizational practices. WMI seeks to minister to and serve others in need in many different countries and cultures. This ministry requires that Christian believers from different denominations and cultures work together in a spirit of unity and mutual respect for others’ personal convictions in the spirit of Romans 14 and 1 Corinthians 8. But when your behavior (whether in private or at work) disrupts the ministry and discredits our witness, we must take appropriate action through counsel and discipline.

We will abide by biblically sound standards and expectations that seek to bring honor to God, ourselves, and one another. We desire to model Christ-like behavior, at and away from work, so that people will be drawn to placing their personal faith in Him as their personal Lord and Savior. An effective Christian witness is first expressed in how we love and serve one another. Because all WMI Representatives share a common Statement of Faith, and understand that we represent the Lord Jesus Christ and WMI in our work and private lives, we expect all WMI Representatives to consistently conduct themselves with honesty and integrity.

The following list of expected standards of conduct, while not exhaustive, are intended to be examples of what is expected from WMI Representatives:
  • Treating others with respect, dignity, and impartiality
  • Behaving in a trusting and trustworthy manner
  • Adhering to all WMI policies and procedures
  • Wearing appropriate attire that respects local custom and policy
  • Legal compliance with local laws and regulations

By signing this agreement, I affirm WMI’s Vision, Mission, and Statement of Faith and agree to comply with WMI’s Personal Conduct Policy.
